This summer, Spotify and Live Nation are launching Reserved by Spotify, a new ticket access program that gives top listeners reserved access to select shows from the artists they love most.
Think about the songs that follow you through your day. The album you play on the commute. The artist you put on while cooking. The playlist that gets you through a workout. The music videos you watch, the songs you save, the tracks you send to friends.
That kind of fandom is personal. Now, it can also become a new path to live.
Reserved by Spotify connects the way fans listen every day with the shows they want to see most. For Spotify, it extends the fan relationship beyond the app. For Live Nation, it brings that passion into venues, amphitheaters, arenas and stadiums around the world.
Together, Spotify and Live Nation are giving artists another way to reach some of their most engaged listeners, and giving fans another way to get closer to the live moments they care about most.
How Reserved Works
Through Reserved, Spotify will use fan engagement signals, including streams, shares and listening activity, to identify eligible fans and give them access to a dedicated ticket window before tickets become available to the general public.
Selected fans will receive an in-app notification and email with the opportunity to purchase up to two tickets during a limited-time access period.
Launching first in the United States, Reserved will begin rolling out across select tours this summer before expanding to additional markets and artists of all sizes.
For fans, it means the artists they listen to most can become shows they can access live in a new way.
For artists, it creates another way to connect with the fans closest to their music.
